Ammar Helac (born June 13, 1998 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Helac started his career at ASKÖ Donau Linz . From 2012 he also played in the AKA Linz , where he was last used in 2016.

In August 2014 he was against the SU St. Martin in the squad of the Danube Linz combat team for the first time. In March 2016 he finally made his debut in the Upper Austrian League when he was in the starting line-up against SC Marchtrenk on matchday 16 of the 2015/16 season .

For the 2017/18 season, Helac moved to the second division club FC Blau-Weiß Linz , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2019. He made his debut in the second division in November 2017 when he came on as a substitute for the injured Hidajet Hankic on matchday 18 that season against WSG Wattens in the 24th minute .

For the 2020/21 season, he moved to the Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien , where he received a contract that ran until June 2023.

National team

Helac made his debut against Norway for the Austrian U-20 selection in March 2019 . In November 2019 he played against Hungary for the U-21 team for the first time .
