Ammerschlucht nature reserve in the Scheibum area (June 2013)

The Ammerschlucht nature reserve in the Scheibum area is located in the districts of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Weilheim-Schongau in Upper Bavaria . It is part of the FFH area Ammer vom Alpenrand b. to the NSG 'Vogelfreistätte Ammersee-Südufer' (8331-302) .

The 42.7 hectares large area with the no. 00066.01 NSG, which in 1953 under natural protection was provided, extending from Scheibum , the rock breakthrough at the beginning of the Ammer Gorge , about 2 kilometers down the river on both sides along the Ammer . The 49.3 hectare Wildseefilz nature reserve extends to the west .
