Andrew "Andy" Frankenberger (born March 9, 1973 in New York City , New York ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker and once won the Main Event of the World Poker Tour , where he 2010/11 as Player of the Year award.

Personal

Frankenberger comes from Andover , Massachusetts , where he graduated from the Phillips Academy . He later studied at Duke University , Durham , with degrees in economics and Russian . Before starting his poker career, Frankenberger worked in the stock market . He lives in New York City .

Poker career

Frankenberger has been participating in renowned live tournaments since 2010 .

In June 2010 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished 34 in a tournament in the No Limit Hold'em variant, which was endowed with more than 20,000 US dollars .
