The Cadre 45/2 World Championship in 1914 was the eleventh world championship, which was held in Cadre 45/2 until 1947 and from 1948 in Cadre 47/2. The tournament took place from 8th to 14th May 1914 in Paris , France. It was organized for the first time by the newly founded Fédération Française des Amateurs de Billard (FFAB).
history
After the differences between the two billiards associations FFB and FSFAB had been resolved, they merged to form the Fédération Française des Amateurs de Billard (FFAB). From now on only one amateur world championship was held. The Belgian Pierre Sels defended his title and became world champion for the fourth time. Charles Faroux from France improved the series world record to 169.
