The Konya Airport ( IATA code KYA , ICAO code LTAN , Turkish Konya Havalimanı ) is a Turkish airport with international status near the city of Konya . It is operated by the state DHMI .

The airport was opened in 2000 and is used by both civil and Turkish air forces . It has a terminal with a capacity of 2,000,000 passengers a year and a paved runway that does not have an instrument flight landing system (ILS). The apron has a size of 150 × 120 meters and can accommodate two commercial aircraft.

The megacity of Konya is about 14 kilometers southeast. Like parts of the surrounding region, it can be reached by taxi, private car or coach and airport shuttle bus. There is a parking lot in front of the terminal, which is designed for 278 cars.
