Before the 2015 regional reform, Fuat had an area of 97.50 km². Now there are 91.67 km². The Suco is located in the east of the Iliomar administrative office. It lies on a grassy, windy high plateau with a view of the Timor Sea . It is relatively cool here in the rainy season. To the southeast lies the Suco Iliomar I, in the southeast Fuat meets the Sucos Aelebere and Tirilolo and in the west Fuat borders the Suco Caenlio . Several rivers have their source in Fuat. The Veira (in its upper reaches it is called Vatatina ), the Miaira and the Massoco flow on to Iliomar I and flow into the Timor Sea. Irarau and Pirusoro flow east into the Namaluto , which forms the eastern border of Fuat. On the other side is the administrative office of Lospalos with its Sucos Lore I and Cacavei . Cacavei also delimits Fuat to the northeast. In the north, Fuat meets Suco Maina II ( Lautém administrative office ). In the northwest is the administrative office of Luro with its sucos Luro and Baricafa . The northern tip of Fuat is bounded by the two headwaters of the Malailada .

The road from the municipal capital Lospalos to the town of Iliomar runs largely along the border with Aelebere and Caenlio . Only at Caenlio does the border run along the outskirts, so that the settlement center is on the side of the Sucos of the same name. On the border with Baricafa, the road turns east, separating the northern tip of Fuat from the rest of the Suco and finally leading into the Suco Cacavei.

The town of Caidabau is located on the road in the northeast . Locileu is also on the road near the border with Cacavei . In the south of Sucos are the localities of Bunabiqui , Rumutau ( Rumotau , Rumatau ), Vataomar and Acadirulo ( Acaidoroloho , Acadiro Loho ). There is a primary school in Acadirulo.

The three Aldeias Acadirulo , Rumutau and Vataomar are located in Fuat .
