Giorgio Bocchino (born July 14, 1913 in Florence , † December 4, 1995 there ) was an Italian foil fencer . He became an Olympic and world champion.
successes
Giorgio Bocchino was world champion five times in a row with the team from 1933 to 1938 . In the individual, a third place in 1934 and a second place in 1938 were his best results. At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 , he reached the individual finals, which he completed with 4: 3 wins on the bronze rank. He also made it to the final round with the team, in which the Italian team remained unbeaten and became Olympic champions ahead of France .
