Rodolfo Terlizzi (born October 17, 1896 in Florence , † July 11, 1971 there ) was an Italian fencer .

successes

Rodolfo Terlizzi took part in two Olympic Games . 1920 in Antwerp he was eliminated in the individual of the foil fencing competition in the preliminary round. With the team, however, he reached the final round, which ended in first place, so that Terlizzi became Olympic champion . His second participation was in the 1932 in Los Angeles , where he only competed in the team competition. Again he moved into the final round with the Italian team, which Italy initially finished with first place on points with France and the United States . In the jump-off, Italy won against the Americans who, like the Italians, lost to the French, giving Terlizzi silver. At the International Fencing Championships in Liège in 1930 he won the gold medal with the team.
