The area at altitude 493.8 south of Tettnang near Schäferhof , popularly known as Lindenbuckel , is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.35.023) in the south of the region designated by ordinances of December 24, 1954 and October 21, 1998 by the Bodenseekreis district office as the lower nature conservation authority Baden-Württemberg town of Tettnang in the Lake Constance district in Germany .

The approximately five hectares large conservation area height 493.8 south Tettnang at Schäferhof is one natural area to Lake basin . It is located about 1.3 kilometers south of the city center of Tettnang, west of Landesstraße 329 and north of the industrial area “Schäferhof” at an altitude of up to 493.8 m above sea level. NHN .
Protection purpose
Essential protective purpose is to maintain the melting Wasserkuppe from the period of Late Glacial of the Rhine glacier , the only lonely hill on the table like a flat terrace of Tettnang gravel surface.
