The Martin's Chapel was built there from 1722 to 1732 and consecrated on July 5, 1732 by Trier Auxiliary Bishop Lothar Friedrich von Nalbach . Catholic Herzenberg Chapel in Hadamar Hadamar , Limburg-Weilburg district 1675 The Herzenberg Chapel is a Marian pilgrimage chapel on the Herzenberg. It represents an important place of pilgrimage in the popular piety of the region. Today's choir of the building is the remnant of the first chapel, built in 1675, an octagonal central building with a diameter of only 4.50 meters with a roof structure made of a hood and lantern. In 1691, the building was extended by a longitudinal nave with rib vaults, to cover the canopy, which was also extended in an elongated shape. With the addition of a curved canopy in 1860, the chapel received its present form. In addition to several smaller church services, the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary with the attached Herzbergfest attracts a large number of visitors. Catholic Church of Our Lady in Hadamar Hadamar , Limburg-Weilburg district 1379 The Liebfrauenkirche is a late Gothic church. It is located directly on the banks of the Elbe stream. It is an east-facing, low hall church with three naves. Shortly before 1379, the Hadamar town pastor had the first chapel, consecrated shortly afterwards, built to the place of the later church from a wayside shrine on the Elbbach consecrated to the Holy Cross. In 1446, the city lords, Count Johann IV of Nassau-Dillenburg and Philip I of Katzenelnbogen, enlarged the church to roughly its current dimensions. The current interior dates from 1630 to 1750 and is in the late Renaissance and Baroque styles. The painting is from 1891. Numerous tombstones and epitaphs inside the church increase the cultural and historical significance. In the outdoor area, a particularly well-made crucifix from 1698 stands out next to the entrance. The stone plinth supports a slated upper floor in half-timbered construction. The neo-Gothic nave, which replaced a smaller previous building in 1886 , adjoins it in the northeast . Catholic parish church of St. Agidius in Obertiefenbach Obertiefenbach , municipality of Beselich , district of Limburg-Weilburg 1886-1888 Around 1200, the first stone-built church was built. The baroque church, built in 1733 on the Kirchberg, was laid down in 1886 and replaced by the current neo-Gothic church between 1886 and 1888 and consecrated on September 1, 1888. Only the 54 meter high church tower remained. The nave was rotated 90 degrees. The three-aisled parish church is consecrated to St. Aegidius and is richly structured: the main portal with large gallery windows forms the festive facade. At the side entrance on the street side there is a large side window, which gives the impression of the layout of a transept. On the south side, three choirs with windows enliven the exterior image, which is crowned by the dominating 54 meter high church tower with the extremely delicate spire. On the inside of the tower side, an additional gallery with a fresco of a scene from the life of the patron saint St. Aegidius corresponds to the large window above the left side entrance. Catholic pilgrimage chapel Maria Hilf zu Beselich Obertiefenbach , municipality of Beselich , district of Limburg-Weilburg 1760-1767 The “Maria Hilf” chapel is located on the Beselicher head . This chapel dedicated to the 14 helpers owes its origin to the initiative of a Franciscan - hermits , the Friar Leonhard (real name: Georg Niedermeier roads). He was born in 1709 and, after an extensive wandering life, built a chapel and a hermitage here on the site of the former Beselich monastery around 1760 , which were inaugurated in 1767. The interior of the chapel was renovated in 2002 through donations from the population and with the support of the Limburg diocese and partly restored to its original state and belongs to the Catholic parish of St. Agidius Obertiefenbach. Today the chapel is the destination of many pilgrims and prayers every day . From May to October there is a Eucharistic celebration every Friday at 6:30 p.m. and a Marian devotion with a sermon and sacramental blessing on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. The chapel is open all year round for prayer. On the way from Obertiefenbach to the pilgrimage chapel (Betweg) there are seven small chapels to commemorate the Seven Sorrows of Mary . Catholic pilgrimage chapel Maria Hilf zu Beselich

After the church burned down in 1878, a new Kilian's Church was built in 1880, which stands on the old foundations. The font is from the 13th century, the pulpit from the 17th century. Only the tower with double arcades on the upper floor, divided by Ionic columns, has survived from this period. The bell was cast by Johannes Berdaller from Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein in 1694 . The nave was rebuilt in 1876–78 after its predecessor was torn down.
