content

30 years ago Jon Porter killed his sister's murderers. After the death of his mother, psychiatrist Jon Porter (Michael Gross) returns to his hometown of Glenrock with his daughter Michelle in order to liquidate the parental home. Painful memories connect him with the small town: 30 years ago, as a little boy, Jon had to watch his 18-year-old sister Lisa being killed. Jon had disrupted a demonic ritual in which three rowdies - led by Tony Reno (Alexis Arquette), his sister's admirer - drank Lisa's blood. Jon was late to save Lisa. He could kill the three murderers.

Unaware that scary things are already going on in Glenrock, Michelle, who will celebrate her 18th birthday in a few days, befriends the girls Jules and Maria. One afternoon a young man introduces himself to them: Tony Reno. The young women are impressed - with the exception of the clairvoyant Jules, who immediately feels a deep dislike.

Tony is only interested in Michelle. He gives her a necklace with a watch: the watch Lisa was wearing when she died. Meanwhile, Father Archer Roberts tries to warn Jon. He claims that Jon's mother's death was not an accident. Steven, the local gardener, has also noticed that something is wrong with Tony. But he suddenly disappears.

When Jon sees with his own eyes that Tony Reno has returned completely unchanged, he finally believes the father. Archer explains that Jon disrupted a Kabbalistic Sabbath 30 years ago. Now Tony is back to complete the demonic ritual.

With the murder of Steven he was able to free one of his two lackeys from hell. Soon the three of them will be back to fetch Michelle. Jon desperately tries to close the gate to hell in time and to prevent his daughter from falling victim to the evil forces.

criticism

"" Sometimes they come back 2 "is a good movie to watch on the side. You can have a wonderful chat in between and still don't miss anything. A typical off-the-shelf B-movie that you can watch, but by no means has to be seen. Absolute average! "

- Benjamin Falk on zelluloid.de

“Tension-free continuation of a horror film that barely manages to create atmosphere and expand the plot of the first part; just as calculable as boring. "
