Marija Witalijiwna Rjemjen ( Ukrainian Марія Віталіївна Рємєнь , English transcription Mariya Ryemyen ; born August 2, 1987 in Makijiwka , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian sprinter .

In 2010 she reached the semi-finals over 60 meters at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and became Ukrainian champion over 200 meters . At the European Championships in Barcelona she was fifth over 100 meters and won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay with the Ukrainian team in the line-up of Olessja Powch , Natalija Pohrebnjak , Rjemjen and Jelysaweta Bryshina .

At the European Indoor Championships in 2011 , she won the silver medal over 60 meters behind her compatriot Olessja Powch. At the World Championships in the same year she was third with the Ukrainian relay. In 2012 she won the 200 meter title at the European Championships in Helsinki . At the Olympic Games shortly afterwards, she was third with the Ukrainian relay in a new national record.

In March 2013 she won the silver medal in the 60-meter run at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, in a personal best. At the World Championships in Moscow , she was seventh over 200 meters.

In February 2014, Rjemjen tested positive for the banned anabolic steroid metandienone during a doping control . As a result, she was suspended from competition for two years.

On July 25, 2013, she was the President of Ukraine the Ukrainian Order of Merit 3rd Class for achieving high sports results on XXVII. World Summer Universiade awarded in Kazan.
