Moyle ( Irish An Mhaoil ) was one of the 26 Northern Irish districts that existed from 1973 to 2015. The district, whose area was in the traditional County of Antrim , was the most populous of all Northern Irish districts. Important places were the city of Ballycastle , which was also the administrative seat, as well as Bushmills , Ballintoy , Armoy , Cushendall , Cushendun and Waterfoot . On April 1, 2015, he went on in the new District Causeway Coast and Glens .
