history
1802 Württemberg took in anticipation of the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss the Imperial City Hall and the Ritterstiftskirche Comburg possession. The Oberamt Hall and the administrative offices of Comburg, Rosengarten and Vellberg were formed from these new acquisitions. In 1805, Württemberg was awarded the Johanniterkommende Hall, in the following year the Hohenlohe principalities and several knightly possessions came under Württemberg sovereignty with the Rheinbundakt . In 1807/08 the above mentioned staff offices were dissolved and incorporated into the Oberamt Hall. A few minor border changes were made until 1810. Neighbors of the district, which was assigned to the Jagstkreis from 1818 to 1924, were the Württemberg regional offices of Gaildorf , Crailsheim , Gerabronn , Künzelsau , Öhringen and Weinsberg .
