The Cook Islands participated in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the seventh participation in the Summer Olympics. The Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Committee nominated eight athletes in five sports.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the sailor Helema Williams .
