Philip Heise (born June 20, 1991 in Düsseldorf ) is a German football player . The defender is on loan from Norwich City to Karlsruher SC .

Career

Philip Heise began playing football at the age of three and a half in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf at the FC Büderich district club . In the C-youth he moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen and then to Fortuna Düsseldorf . The last U-19 year he played with Borussia Mönchengladbach in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga West, before returning to Düsseldorf.

At Fortuna, the left defender trained with the second division professionals, but was a regular player in the U-23 in the Regionalliga West for a year. Since the contract offer of the Rhinelander for the 2011/12 season did not go beyond the amateur team, which was also relegated, Heise decided to change and signed a one-year contract with the third division Prussia Münster . On the second day of the new 3rd division season he got his first chance as a substitute. After two years in Münster with a total of 38 appearances, Heise moved within the 3rd division to 1. FC Heidenheim in the summer of 2013 , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd division for the 2014/15 season.

For the season 2015/16 Heise moved to VfB Stuttgart . After he had completed five Bundesliga appearances and was relegated with the Stuttgarters, he only came to one league assignment in the 2nd Bundesliga in the first half of the following season. Heise then moved to Dynamo Dresden on January 10, 2017 . In his first game for Dresden, he scored a 1-0 lead in a 2-1 away win in Nuremberg .

On January 31, 2019, Heise moved to the English second division club Norwich City , with whom he was promoted to the Premier League as champion in the spring after only one cup appearance .

After two more cup games and four appearances for the U23s, the East English gave the Germans to their home country to the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg until the end of the 2019/20 season . Heise was on the ball in eleven games for the club , five of which were in the starting line-up, and played the left flank defensively and offensively. As for the rate of goals conceded, the team only found themselves in the middle of the league and had to keep the class with Heise over the relegation, in which he was only on the bench. The Rhinelander remained in the 2nd Bundesliga without any further activities for his home club and was awarded to Karlsruher SC for the 2020/21 season.
