characters
main characters
The main characters of Sam & Cat are the two protagonists Sam Puckett and Cat Valentine and their neighbor Dice.
- Sam Puckett
Sam Puckett is very rebellious and has to go to school a lot. She is described by her friends as "offensive and irresponsible". Together with Cat she runs Sam & Cat's super cool, cosmopolitan babysitting service , where she behaves just as little responsibly towards the children as she usually does. Sam has been arrested several times. She often takes advantage of Cat's sensitivity.
- Cat Valentine
Cat Valentine is mostly in a good mood, easy to satisfy and is liked by all students. She is manic , so she has strong mood swings and is very sensitive. She can often be fooled by Sam or others, but can also get very angry. She loves her grandmother (whom she calls Nona), her lavender-colored stuffed giraffe and the television series "Jungs im Rock". She also has a habit of repeating many sounds like “ding-dong” and “knock-knock” out loud when she hears them.
- Dice
Dice is Sam and Cat's neighbor and the reason for their successful babysitting business. He is 12 years old and therefore significantly younger than the two girls. He is "cool", calm and always up to date. He often brings unusual things with him and wants to sell them. To earn money, he performs on children's birthday parties. He's the manager of Goomer. His trademark is his great hair.
- Nona
Nona is Cat's grandmother. She lived with Cat but moved to the Elderly Acres retirement home at the beginning of the series . She often visits her granddaughter and likes to tell old stories that nobody cares about.
More figures
Furthermore, a number of recurring minor characters belong to the ensemble of the series.
- Goomer
Goomer is a 27 year old professional mixed martial arts fighter . He appears very naive and extremely childish. Sam and Cat were hired to babysit Goomers by Dice, who is also Goomer's manager. The previous manager fired him because Goomer was too stupid. Goomer's full name is Geau Mer. He has been adopted by Mrs. Mer.
- Tandy
Tandy is a red robot in bots. He can recognize faces, look up search terms like Google, and bring food to customers. His quotes are “Oh no”, “I'm darting away” and “People disgust me”.
- Gwen and Ruby
Gwen and Ruby are two British girls that Sam and Cat are taking care of. Gwen and Ruby trick their babysitters by selling them and Dice non-existent products.
- Ethan and Bob
Ethan and Bob are two boys and sons of a customer of Sam and Cat. The two often drive the girls insane, with Ethan constantly asking pointless questions and Bob constantly wanting to cuddle someone.
- Dilben
Dilben is a very annoying boy who lives in the same house as Sam and Cat and keeps claiming that his father owns the house. This turns out to be a lie, in truth his father is a shoe seller who makes shoes for wide-footed women. Dilben likes to wear cloaks for no reason and is regularly humiliated by Sam.
- Chloe and Max
Chloe and Max are two children that Sam and Cat take care of more often. They often perform with their little brother Darby, who is still a baby. Melinda (Christina Hogue) is the mother of the three.
- Butler torso
Butler Torso is a child who is a 3-time Sims Championship winner . He challenged Sam to a Sims championship, but lets Sam win because he felt bad about his mother.
- Mrs. Torso
Mrs. Torso is the mother of Butler Torso. She wants her son to win to meet the US Vice President. She is also the manager of her son.
- John Zakappa
John Zakappa is Goomer's arch-rival in the MMA ring. His nickname in the ring is "The Skull Breaker". After being defeated by Goomer and later by Sam, he holds a grudge against Sam. In revenge, he stole Sam's motorcycle. Sam was able to take the motorcycle from him again, and Sam and Cat took Zakappa's short friend Hector (Brad Williams) home with them as a return revenge. The name "Zakappa" is based on the Russian word Zabaka and means dog.
- Yorkvish
Yorkvish is a seller from the store. He often takes selfies.
- Herb
Herb is a neighbor of Sam and Cat, who keeps appearing in front of their window and has a conversation with the girls. Thanks to his ragged clothes and his peculiarities of eating withered food, collecting dirty things and, last but not least, not shaving too much, he is often mistaken for a homeless person. However, he says that he has a condominium and asserts that his life is "fantastic" ("My life's going great" / "My life is fantastic!"). The girls think he is strange, but still make friends with him.
- Melanie "Mel" Puckett
Melanie is Sam's twin sister, who appeared at iCarly . She is practically the complete opposite of Sam because she is kind, selfless, and a good student. Sam uses them for pranks. She lives in Vermont at boarding school, which is why she only appears in a single episode.
- Stacey Dillsen
Stacey Dillsen is a returning girl on Zoey 101 . She had lost a shoe in the accident with the steel pipe from the American Piper series . She is now in the hospital.
