The elections and votes listed here took place in 2015 . Far from all of the elections listed took place according to internationally recognized democratic standards. This list also includes bogus elections in dictatorships with no alternative candidates or elections that came about through electoral fraud or without fair, equal access of the competing candidates or parties to the mass media.
