Stevietheman is Steve Magruder from Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Steve is a web application developer (as both direct contractor and subcontractor) specializing in PHP/MySQL-based sites. Authorship
A Wikipedian since March 2004, Steve contributes to many articles and discussions, especially related to computer science and political science. See his full list of contributions.
Philosophy of editing
Beyond correcting obvious spelling, grammar, structure and formatting problems, Steve also takes a strong look at:
- Blatant advertising, esp. of unrelated products/sites, but also of related entities that could eventually get out of hand (e.g., under Internet forum, listing all forums on the web).
- Non-neutral POV
- Lack of encyclopedic relevance—and Google hits aren't enough to prove it! There must be provable common knowledge of the article's subject and a significant number of references outside the article author's sphere of influence.

Miscellaneous
- Body parts slang*
- Foster Brooks*
- Frederick Law Olmsted
- Glocalization*
- Louisville, Kentucky—I am especially proud of the progress made in this article
- Sexual slang
- Three's Company

To Do's
The following are items I'd like to work on in the near future. Of course, feel free to beat me to doing any of these:
- Rework articles containing subjective term "sadly".
- In the Louisville, Kentucky article:
- Expand the History and Media sections
- Create a Transportation section
- Expand metro area list in United States metropolitan area from top 25 to top 50.
- Clean up the Majoritarianism article, as it may still contain some original research.
- Expand Other commissions of Olmsted in Frederick Law Olmsted.
Biography
Steve attended J. B. Speed School of Engineering (formerly Speed Scientific School) at the University of Louisville, majoring in Engineering Math and Computer Science (concentrating in Computer Science), and received his B.S. in Engineering Science in 1989. Subsequently, he has worked alternately as a permanent employee and contractor with various firms and organizations as a software developer. He is now pursuing a mix of web development and writing assignments.
