Carmen Silvera (Toronto, June 2 1922 – Denville Hall, August 3 2002) was a Canadian-British actress, best known for playing Edith Melba Artois in the BBC comedy series 'Allo 'Allo!.
Carmen Silvera first made her name as a television actress in the 1960s British soap opera, Compact.
She appeared twice in Doctor Who, in the episodes The Celestial Toymaker and Invasion of the Dinosaurs, as well as in the Dad's Army episode Mum's Army.
She died of lung cancer.
