Maddison Jaizani is a British actress and model. She is known for portraying Sophie de Clermont on the Canal+ television series Versailles, Odessa in the AMC series Into the Badlands, and Bess Marvin in the CW series Nancy Drew.
Early life
Jaizani is of Iranian descent.[1] She lived in Manchester and graduated with a national extended diploma in performing arts from Bury College.[citation needed]
Career
Jaizani's television debut was portraying teenage Leila in the 2014 episode "State of Emergency" of Tyrant.[2] Jaizani starred as Sophie in the television series Versailles from 2015 to 2018,[3][4][5] and played Odessa in the AMC series Into the Badlands in 2017.[2][6][7] In March 2019, Jaizani was cast as Bess in The CW mystery series Nancy Drew.[2]
