Antonio Delamea Mlinar (born 10 June 1991) is a Slovenian retired footballer who played as a defender.
Club career
In January 2017, Delamea Mlinar signed with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.[2] He scored his first goal for the Revolution on June 17, 2017 at home in front of 21,548 fans in the club's 2-1 loss to Chicago Fire FC.[3] Delamea received his first red card for the club in the Revolution's 7-0 steamrolling at the hands of Atlanta United FC on Sep 13, 2017.[4]
International career
In November 2016, Delamea Mlinar received his first call-up to the senior Slovenia squad for the matches against Malta and Poland.[5] He made his debut in a friendly match against Poland on 14 November, as a replacement for Miral Samardžić.[6]
Personal life
Delamea Mlinar received a permanent resident card in February 2018, which qualifies him as a domestic player for MLS roster purposes.[7]
