Aden Jefferies is a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. First appearing as a recurring guest character, he is now a regular on the show. [1]He has been portrayed by Todd Lasance since 2005.

Character

At his core Aden is an anti social bully with a huge chip on his shoulder when it comes to authority figures, much like his older brother before him. His mother died when he was young and he was raised by his father, who was very keen on his son establishing a succesful football career.

When Aden first came to the show, he had a brief relationship with Cassie Turner.

Aden has particular issues with Geoff Campbell, who is not only a better footballer and a threat to his career, but represents, at least in Aden's mind, the hypocrisy of society. Aden is convinced that, beneath the Christian good will, Geoff is just as flawed as everyone else, and just as full of sin! Is hw right?

His numerous clashes with Geoff resulted in him being dropped from the rugby team by coach Tony Holden. He has resented Tony and Geoff ever since. And at one point, during a game a pool, Aden punched Tony in the jaw knocking him on the ground then leaving with his mates. Recently Geoff punched Aden. Sally called Aden into her office and told him not to be like the way he is being to Geoff. Later in class Geoff had his leg out and Aden was walking and he showed some respect as he just walked over his leg!

Recently, Aden has been continually irritating Geoff doing mean things to him. But this time Aden pushed Geoff's buttons too far and Geoff lashed out by punching Aden in the face giving him a black eye!

He saw Annie Campbell steal alcohol from a delivery truck at the diner. He found her later very drunk on the beach, and tried to revive her, and talk to her. Seeing that she was in danger, he took her to the Surf Club, where they met Tony and Geoff, who seeing Aden carrying Annie in such a way believed Aden to have caused this by plying her with alcohol, as he did with Tam. Roman talked to Annie, telling her about when he first got drunk when he was ten(!). Annie seemed to remember what happened, and it seemed like Aden would be cleared, but then Jack charged Aden with providing alcohol to an under-age person. We find out later that Annie has told a lie to Roman, stating that Aden got her drunk and tried to kiss her.

Irene tries to kick Aden out of the Diner, and he flatly refuses, saying that it's a public place. They have an arguement, which culminates in Irene pushing Aden over. He falls on his bad leg which had only just recovered from the car crash involving Cassie, Matilda and a group of Adens friends. He is suing the Diner!

On 5 march annie tells the turth and the charges are droped. Irene painfully says sorry to aden on his front door step, aden says that he will not take action against the dinner.

Aden has the hots for Geoff Campbell, and is probably so angry because he is gay and loves Geoff but can't show it.
