Yea, I even get bored sometimes but I try to control myself you know? Nice to know that I have someone on my side and thanks for seeing if I needed any help. :) −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 17:53, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Right now I'm thinking you should find someone else to do that. I've started school and will be pretty busy in the next few weeks. I'll basically do the occasional edits but nothing too big. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 21:44, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pink Floyd problems

I'll fix them, those problems are my fault, but i'll fix them, been working si hard on the PF discog that i forgot. --Be Black Hole Sun (talk) 19:09, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what this refers to. I haven't reverted your edits or posted to your talk page lately. I know you make a lot of edits to the PF discog page, and I'm not sure what they're all about, but if I have a problem with one, I'll let you know. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 22:11, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Finished a major copyedit/ reorganization of the intro of the above article, as well as some grammar fixes in the leads to the diff sections. Lemme know if you think it needs any further editing. Washburnmav (talk) 19:31, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a member of WikiProject Discographies, I thought you might be interested to participate in the collaboration. Hpfan9374 (talk) 12:58, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't mind I would like to discuss a couple of your edits following mine:

  1. Opening Sentence— The first sentence of an article should discuss its topic (see WP:MOS). In this case the topic is the list of awards Adams received, not Adams himself. I changed the opener to model the FL List of U2 awards here but you changed it back. I truly believe my version is correct.
  2. MTV Music Video Awards— I corrected this edit here and believe I was correct again. This is also following List of U2 awards format, and reads better in my opinion.

Thanks for considering my thoughts. In the future it would be nice if you informed me of changes to my copyediting, it helps me learn how to better copyedit. Thanks. Washburnmav (talk) 20:36, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Roman emperors

Well as long as you fixed all the problems raised in the last failed FLC then you should be able to bring it back to FLC again. But it may be worth alerting people from relevant Wikiprojects as the list didn't seem to generate much interest last time round. The Rambling Man (talk) 06:50, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request for wider input on discussion at WikiProject Tennis

Hi, there is an extremely long and muddled discussion going on at WP:Tennis about the tournament tables found on tennis player articles (i.e. this type of table), and I'm notifying you as you identified yourself as a member of the project. The dispute is over the "Tournament Name" column, with the options being to either use the "sponsored tournament name" - in other words, the name involving the sponsor, for example Internazionali BNL d'Italia - or the "non-sponsored tournament name" - in other words, Rome Masters. I appreciate that this conversation is very long and convoluted, so a brief summary can be found here, which is also where I request the discussion continues. Thanks, rst20xx (talk) 23:02, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for your support on my List of number-one Billboard Top Latin Albums of 2000, which is now a Featured list.

Rockprosjekt

Hei!

Hey! I noticed that you've put a "major rewrite" header on the top of Tragic Kingdom, yet have not edited it since the 2nd, a week ago. The article was next on my to-do list as I'm currently working on the previous No Doubt albums The Beacon Street Collection, and No Doubt (No Doubt album). I am therefore familiar with particular sources and reviews. Looking at the size of your to-do list at the top of this page (which I note doesn't contain this particular article), I politely ask if you would leave it to me. I'm on a roll here. -- Escape Artist Swyer Talk to me The mess I've made 15:08, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've happily joined your new wikiproject and will probably be working on No Doubt and Gwen Stefani related articles. Thanks for the invite. -- Escape Artist Swyer Talk Contributions 17:49, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Roxette discography. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Tiptoety talk 19:27, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute about the Roxette discography

I want to end that war about editing the Roxette discography and I tell you what is imortant for me and why: 1st: you can place the countries in alphatetic order with naming Sweden first (because it is the country they come from) but when you do something like that you have to change it in the singles list, too. That is something you never done.

2nd: it is arguable to add countrys to the list like Belgia or Finland where you have only two or three chart entry's knowing that also the first two album must have chartet in those country's but you don't have a source for that. Then the list is incomplete and give a person the impression that for example 'Look Sharp' wasn't successfull in Finland or Belgia. Which might be wrong.

3nd: I don't like it when you have three discographies (Studio Albums, Compilations and Live Albums) not in order. In my discography the country line is amongst one another. So it does look more systematic and clear. Do you see it and do you get my point? It is easier to look when the UK is in the same line in the Studio Albums section AND in the Compilations section.

4th: You erased the album certifation list which was all given a reliable source. I think you find it is too long. But why erase it and then replace it with the certification from UK, US, Can and Aus only? That doesn't make sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andreas81 (talkcontribs) 10:35, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I updated the Roxette discography with the country names in alphabetic order (how you like it). I also added some more country's in the compilation list which are also in the studio albums list. This is it. Hope you'll like it. I come two steps forward to you so you have to make a compromise with the Album certification list. That's the only compromise I can give. Otherwise I have to take other actions if you try to destroy this side again! You are warned to be blocked so keed that in mind!Andreas81 (talkcontribs) 14:03, 11 September 2008 (UTC

Re. note on my page re. Pink Floyd discography

Heh... I guess I was grumpy when I posted that. It really doesn't have much to do with the FA nomination, so maybe I shouldn't have posted it. I could have posted my concerns on your talk page, I guess. As for helping, you don't need help, you're doing fine! But if you do need help with something specific, let me know. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 13:19, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About the Bryan Adams list

Hi!. Regarding your list for Bryan Adams awards, in the Golden Globe section you don't mark the award he won, and in the introduction to that table you said that he is the recipient of one award.

I have already supported the list, but that table was not there. I think is a minor fix.

Good job!, Jaespinoza (talk) 00:23, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bryan Adams music videos

Hey there, I've read your comment on my user talk page about the Bryan Adams music videos. I've seen the videos on YouTube, and other sites such as this one. I don't know who directed those videos, but I'll try to find out. JimV1 03:22, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello...

One comment regarding your Bryan Adams award lists. Is there any way that you could place the tables alphabetically?, I thing that will make searching easier.

Allmusic.com

I can't find where allmusic.com states that "Heaven" was the second single from Reckless. Does it actually say that or are you interpreting some other data to come to that conclusion? Either allmusic.com is incorrect or you have misunderstood the information. The first four singles from Reckless were, in order, "Run to You" (A&M 2686, Hot 100 debut 11/3/84), "Somebody" (A&M 2701, Hot 100 debut 2/2/85), "Heaven" (A&M 2729, Hot 100 debut 4/20/85) and "Summer of '69" (A&M 2739, Hot 100 debut 6/29/85).

Allmusic.com provides limited general chart data and is derived from the Billboard online archives which are incomplete prior to certain years for some charts. Additionally, it only lists those singles that charted, making it even more incomplete for the purposes of creating or editing a discography. Some Wikipedia users also misunderstand what the charts represent. For instance, the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart measures airplay of album tracks, not singles. The appearance of a song on that chart does not necessarily indicate it was released as a single or "released to radio" as a promo single. In the case of the song "Heaven", it appeared on the Rock Tracks chart as an album track from the soundtrack A Night in Heaven in early 1984, long before Reckless was released and more than a year before it was released as a single. So to say that the single "Heaven" was #9 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart would be inaccurate since the single did not even exist at the time the song was on that chart.

Please keep in mind the limitations of allmusic.com when editing discography articles. Simply repeating whatever information is found there without any specific knowledge of an artist's release history or context will likely result in errors. Piriczki (talk) 12:56, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Whoever wrote the song review of "Somebody" for allmusic.com is mistaken. May I suggest using actual release dates, catalog numbers or chart debut dates to establish chronological order rather than subjective writings. Piriczki (talk) 16:40, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • I don't have the exact dates but you can probably narrow it down to the right month by looking at the chart debut dates I listed above. A popular song by an established artist usually makes the chart in its first tracking week or three weeks prior to the date of the chart. Piriczki (talk) 16:59, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Soundgarden

Why is everybody always in a rush to get articles to good article status? Some of those articles won't be able to get to good article status anyway because they haven't had the coverage needed to get them to that status. Anyway, I just want to be able to work on the articles I want to work on. By this time, I'm tired of dealing with the review process and problematic reviewers. I just want to be left alone and maintain articles by removing vandalism and keeping them factual. I don't particularly care about their class any more, or ever did.-5- (talk) 17:24, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm patient. I'm more interested in seeing articles improve over time instead of rushing to nominate them. I don't mind at all if other people have something to contribute to the articles, I welcome it, as long as they are good contributions. I'd just rather have a good article develop over time with the help of other contributor's edits instead of getting burned out trying to rush an article to the review process. There's enough work just trying to keep a consistency between all of the articles. Thanks for the compliments, however.-5- (talk) 18:07, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

turkish charts

  • oh hi! i'm really glad that you asked this to me (: Спасиба :p and sorry but our chart history is new, "billboard turkey" is our official music charts and they started making the lists since 2006. neither bryan adams nor soundgarden were in our lists. i wish they had been (: --Triancula (talk) 10:23, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • of course you can ask, also i have to thank you as to give me a strength to open the turkish "chart" pages in english wikipedia from the turkish vikipedi (: also you should make changes about the design cos' actually i'm not really good at in. again, thanks (: --Triancula (talk) 14:03, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • should have been in Europe as Russia in the Europe too, and i edited it and with this version it is great. Also i oftenly look down the Russian Airplay Charts - is that official, yeah? cos' i edited some changes with the "Russian Airplay Chart" for example in turkish vikipedi, sertab erener's some chart results (: --Triancula (talk) 15:55, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • also, i thought that i could made the change but my change does not seen, can you handle it, i mean putting the Billboard türkiye to european section ;) --Triancula (talk) 15:58, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • you changed the title which means exactly true! (: i would gonna say that to you that we should change the subject title but you behaved earlier. (: and i should ask you that how did you find me on the vikipedia cos nowadays especially for last 1-2 months i'm interested in russian music and russian language! --Triancula (talk) 16:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • yeah i got it, it's the same for me too, i love exploring new charts! i look down for example estonian charts and add if they are of course reliable. i think we should add the logo from the turkish vikipedi to make the page greater. hmm you did a lot of things, i should work on it! (: --Triancula (talk) 16:15, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • you edited perfectly but unfortunately there is a big subject that our only sources are the "weekly-updated" top 20 pages and also billboard magazines. the turkish billboard's chart sources "are still preparin'" so at least for now, there will be not obvious past pages... i think we should remove it at least for now and after they announced all the songs from 2006 (they announced to do this) then we should put correctly. --Triancula (talk) 16:20, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • yeah, it became really great. thank you man! (: --Triancula (talk) 16:30, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
