Leah Hackett (born 15 August 1985), is an English actress born in Bolton, Greater Manchester, and brought up in Leigh then Tyldesley. She attended Fred Longworth High School, Tyldesley, Wigan, the same shcool as fellow Hollyoaks star Anthony Quinlan, Hollyoaks: In the City's Oliver Lee and X Factor 2008's Laura White. She then attended Winstanley College, Wigan and later trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), which she appeared in a number of stage productions, such as the Lucky Stiff and Vincent in Brixton.

Hackett is famous for playing timid Tina McQueen in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. She has played the role since August 2006. She also appeared in the Liverpool Nativity on 16 December 2007 and starred in the music video of boyfriend's band, Reemer, in 2008.

Hackett has a mixed race British father ( born to an English mother and African/American distant father ) and a English mother. [citation needed]
