American Inventor Thomas Edison, was kicked out of school and declared an idiot, was a complete failure until his mid 20's, countless inventions... He improved the light bulb and made it reasonably reliable (we still use his method), the most basic electric circuit that has any use. Some of his inventions allowed multiple lines going through the same wire for telegram, this concept was used to create the first hub of phone network, a one node network. Improvement of the same concept lead to the node system which is used in today's modern phone networks. Later this was improved with fiberoptics to allow more data to flow in a much, much smaller space. However Edison's concept runs the Internet. What more is there to say? Scottish American Inventor Alexander Graham Bell basically invented a way to convert sound into electrical circuits. He later discovered a primitive way to encode sound in a beam of light 100+ years prior to the discovery of fiberoptics and long before the discovery of light being just another frequency range in the electromagnetic radiation. At the time he was laughed at, today we are using it. Event Timeframe Explanation I haven't been making major edits for quite some time. I do not intend to do so for quite a while due to the annoyance I recieve from several individuals, most notably User:MARMOT. I am instead focusing on coding my vandal detection bot and managing the Counter Vandalism Unit in an effort to contain "them". As User:RickK suggested Vandals, trolls and malactors are given respect, whereas those who are here to actually create an encyclopedia, and to do meaningful work, are slapped in the face and not given the support needed to do the work they need to do. Additionaly I feel Davenbelle (talk · contribs) and Karl Meier (talk · contribs) (aka Stereotek (talk · contribs)) have been hounding me. I am also somewhat disapointed by the arbcom ruling regarding this dispute. I feel User:Davenbelle and User:Karl Meier got away with too light of a ruling. While I will abide by the arbcom ruling, I will not like it nor should I expected to enjoy restrictions levied on me with the exception of mentorship which has not changed anything as my mentors were among the tens of people I ask for advice from time to time. It is only formal now.
