Hello, I am Sumal . I am from Kannur and I have been working on that page . I see that you have also contributed a bit . We can join hands to make it better. sumal

Kerala

Why don't we start a Kerala wikipedians to enable us to increase content on Kerala. sumal

See, I am not very good on computers . I can just go my way about. So If you can tell me how to do it . I would be grateful. I also run a sherlock holmes society of India group for the past 4 years . you can see the link in the sherlock holmes entry in the wikipedia Hi,

I think there is a terrible misunderstanding. What I meant was I am not very clear about wiki procedures but you seem to be good at it.That is why I have asked you. Regarding Sherlock Holmes , I have been a keen fan . I have been running this society for 4 years ,in case you are keen to join , please join . It is worth interacting with other Sherlockians . I am sorry for the discomfort I caused you

Hello Jisha, sure...I would try to do whatever is possible as regards the historical part of the article Perinthalmanna. It was nice to learn that you want to contribute to Kerala specific topics, really nice! I have also done few like Padmanabhapuram Palace, St. Francis Church, Cochin and Paradesi Synagogue, and also minor edits on few more artilces relating to Kerala, God's own country. I wish you all the best.--Bhadani 11:59, 22 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

    • A link for the history, may be it will be useful: (http://www.varma.net/articles/valluvan1.php)--Bhadani 18:51, 22 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hi, I will be on the job of making Perinthalmanna a better article . Give me some time since I am trying to get Kannur better. Please help me there. Sumal
    • Hello Jisha, I could not do anything about your request, but the matter is under my scrutiny. Ok.--Bhadani 16:06, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Hello, I am sorry I did not reply to your earlier message. The reason is I have no information about Perinthalmanna, a place I never visited. If I come across any new information about that place, I will indeed be happy to contribute. MANOJTV 08:33, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Hello, I made the suggestions/queries/clarifications in the discussion page only because you suggested to do so. Since I don't know anything about Perinthalmanna, I thought it was not correct to make any changes when it came to facts. I asked you to have a re-look at these points becuase I thought and still think you are better informed than any other users who have so far edited the page.

Another point: Is the statement related to the currency notes actually correct? MANOJTV 11:39, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Reorganising texts of Perinthalmanna- Please see my fresh response on the talk page of the article. Please also discuss with me, in case, you so desire, any other matters which we all should do together on Kerala related topics.--Bhadani 17:52, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Kannur

Hi,

What happened to the Kannur COTW ? I haven't noticed any major changes for the past few days. Jisha C J 15:23, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I know. Kannur was selected last sunday, and today completes one week. A new article is [supposed to be] chosen every week. Sumalsn had nominated it but failed to contribute anything during the past week, despite me informing him. Had there been more edits to the article, I could have left it for one more week though. Bear in mind that commitment must be shown mainly by the persons who nominate and support it. If I leave it too long people who vote for current articles will lose interest. Hello, I expanding the article Malayala manorama. Would yoy please let me know translation of Malayala Manorama in English. Please, thanks.--Bhadani 19:35, 9 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

hi, plz give me an english word for "manorama", and I beleive Malayala means the land of Malayalees. Plz clarify, so that I may include the information in the article. --Bhadani 17:16, 11 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I felt really nice to see your message. I am not sure, but you are perhaps right if the single word “theertham” is used. The Sanskrit meaning of words, Padma and Theertham, are respectively lotus and pilgrimage. I have translated this into “lotus pilgrimage” for the sake of simplicity for people who may not be knowing Sanskrit, Hindi or Malayalam. In case, “Padama Theertham” has some other meaning in Malayalam, please feel free to suitably edit. And, thanks for your interest in the article. --Bhadani 13:13, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

And, more thanks for correcting the spelling mistakes. My sincere thanks. --Bhadani 13:17, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Malappuram

I have started work on it. Shall we try to bring it up to Kannur standards . Can you join the Kerala wikiportal devoted to improve all matters relating to Kerala sumal 05:32, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Constitution of India

Hi,

I made some changes to the Constitution of India article. Any suggestions? Jisha C J 16:58, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The page has too much of a list. The United States Constitution is a Featured Article and is nicely done. It needs to be expanded further. User:Nichalp/sg 17:09, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
