Joe Hendron is a Northern Ireland politician. He was SDLP MP for West Belfast between 1992 and 1997. He had taken the seat from Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams, who took the seat back at the next election. He was also elected as a representative of West Belfast in 1975 to the Constitutional Convention, in 1982 to the Northern Ireland Assembly, in 1996 to the Northern Ireland Forum for Political Dialogue and in 1998 to the new Northern Ireland Assembly. However he lost his seat in the 2003 Assembly election.

He is a Parades Commissioner.
