Ržišče is a settlement at the foothills of the Gorjanci hills in the Kostanjevica na Krki municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Spodnjeposavska statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to the Mary Magdalene and belongs to the Kostanjevica na Krki parish. It is a 13th century Late Romanesque building with a rectangular nave with a flat ceiling and a barrel vaulted sanctuary.[3]
