Karel Zelenka (born March 31, 1983 in Louny, Czechoslovakia) is an Czech-Italian figure skater. He is a five-time (2003–2007) Italian national champion.
Biography
Zelenka was born in 1983 in Czechoslovakia. His family moved to Italy when he was six years old, due to his father's work. He has lived in Italy ever since. Zelenka received Italian citizenship in January, 2006, in time for him to represent Italy at the 2006 Winter Olympics, where he placed 25th. He trained in Milan, Italy, and Oberstdorf, Germany.[1]
