Cup of China
The Cup of China is an international figure skating competition that forms part of the Grand Prix series . It is organized by the Chinese Figure Skating Association and takes place every autumn at different locations in the People's Republic of China . The skaters come to the disciplines single run of the Men's Singles round of the ladies, pairs skating and ice dancing against each other.
The first Cup of China was held in Beijing in 2003, already as part of the Grand Prix series , after the German Bofrost Cup had been removed from the series due to low audience interest and better TV offerings from China. The Cup of China did not take place in 2018 and was replaced once in the ISU Grand Prix series by a Grand Prix competition in Helsinki.
