Andrei Wladimirowitsch Grjasew ( Russian Андрей Владимирович Грязев ; English Andrei Griazev ; born July 26, 1985 in Perm , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian figure skater who started in a single run .

Life

He started figure skating at the age of four. At the age of eleven he went to Saint Petersburg to train with Alexei Mishin , who also trains Yevgeny Pljushchenko . Then he trained from 2002 on the advice of Alexei Jagudin with Tatyana Tarasova . Later he changed his trainer again and trained with Jelena Wodoresowa .

In 2004 Grjasew won the Junior World Championship . In 2007 he was the Russian senior champion, but could not build on the international success of his predecessors. In the period from 2004 to 2007 he took part in world and European championships three times , in 2005 he achieved his best result there with eleventh and fifth place respectively. In 2009 he ended his competitive career.
