Anna Cappellini (born February 19, 1987 in Como , Lombardy ) is an Italian figure skater who starts in ice dancing .

Cappellini began figure skating at the age of three and focused on ice dancing at the age of twelve.

Her ice dance partner has been Luca Lanotte since May 2005 . Before that, she ran alongside Matteo Zanni, Luca Lombardi, Frederico Bassi.

From the 2006/2007 season onwards, Cappellini and Lanotte became the second strongest Italian ice dance couple behind Federica Faiella and Massimo Scali . They made their debut at World and European Championships in 2007 , where they finished 13th and eighth respectively. They stayed in these service areas until 2010. They finished twelfth at the 2010 Olympic Games .

At the 2012 World Cup in Nice , Cappellini and Lanotte achieved their best result so far at world championships with sixth place. A year later they won their first medal at international championships with bronze at the European Championships in Zagreb .
