Yekaterina Alexandrovna Bobrowa ( Russian Екатерина Александровна Боброва ; born March 28, 1990 in Moscow ) is a Russian figure skater who starts in ice dancing .

Her ice dance partner has been Dmitri Solowjow since 2000 . The couple trains with Jelena Kustarowa and Svetlana Alexejewa in Moscow.

In 2007 Bobrowa and Solowjow were junior world champions in Oberstdorf .

Due to the injury-related withdrawal of Oxana Domnina and Maxim Schabalin , Bobrowa and Solowjow were able to take part in the 2008 World Championships in Gothenburg for the first time , where they finished 13th. They made their debut at European Championships and Olympic Games in 2010 and finished in ninth and 15th place respectively. In their second appearance at world championships , they finished eighth that same year.

In 2011 Bobrowa and Solowjow went for the first time as Russian champions. At the European Championships in Bern they managed to win their first medal in a major championship. They won silver behind the French Nathalie Péchalat and Fabian Bourzat . Three months later, they achieved sixth place at the World Cup in Moscow, their best result so far at World Cups. In the following year, the ice dancing couple finished silver again at the European Championships in Sheffield behind the French Péchalat / Bourzat and finished seventh at the World Championships in Nice .

In 2013 Bobrowa and Solowjow won gold at the European Championships in Zagreb, their first title at major international championships.

At the European Championships in 2016 , Bobrowa gave a positive drug test for meldonium . After that she was banned from the following world championships .
