Aipy (Ancient Greek: Αἶπυ) or Typaneai (Greek: Τυπανέαι) was an ancient city in Elis, the modern Elis regional unit, Greece. It was one of the oldest cities in Elis and was a member of the Minyae which had six cities, it was located near Makistos and according to Homer, they were prepared for the Trojan War.[1] The ancient city has never been excavated and is 5 km from Platiana. An ancient wall of the acropolis survives into the present together with a theatre and an agora (market), now entirely in ruins.[2]
