Don Bosco Preparatory High School, located on a 35-acre (14 hectare) campus in Ramsey, New Jersey, United States, was founded in 1915 as a private Roman Catholic secondary school for young men in grades 9 through 12. Administered by the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco, a religious order of priests and brothers, Don Bosco Prep is founded on Catholic philosophy and St. John Bosco's system of education, based on "reason, religion and kindness."

Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Don Bosco Prep is a member of The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, The National Catholic Education Association, The National Association of Secondary School Principals, The National Honor Society and The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association.

Activities
The athletic teams are nicknamed the Ironmen and the school colors are maroon and white.
Fall
Don Bosco Prep has a football program that is a consistent competitor for the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) Parochial Group 4 championship. Don Bosco Prep has been boosted by regular season competition with perennial powerhouses such as Bergen Catholic High School and Saint Joseph Regional High School. The school also has consistently strong soccer and cross-country teams, both of which regularly compete on the state level. Don Bosco Prep competes in the Northern New Jersey Interscholastic League (NNJIL).
There is also a fall crew team, which was started in 2006 and looks to do well and continue to add to the tradition of the successful spring program.
Winter
The Prep currently fields wight varsity athletic teams in the winter including a County Champion basketball team, a hockey team, wrestling, and bowling programs. DBP also has swimming and fencing teams, a ski racing team and an indoor track & field program. Don Bosco's ski team has won the league championship five years in a row, and always has a strong showing in the state race.
Spring
The school offers seven varisty sports in the spring season including baseball, crew, golf, lacrosse, outdoor track, tennis, and volleyball.
The crew team, a recent addition in 2003, has been making a name for itself both locally and nationally, placing many boats in local regattas in Philadelphia and the Mercer Lake Sprints. As well as bringing home the Undine Cup, for the boys junior double at the Stotesbury Cup and at scholatic rowing nationals, for two years running.
