Chioninia stangeri (English name: Stanger's skink or Stanger's mabuya) is a species of skinks in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands.[1]
Geographic range
One of the places where C. stangeri is found is Pico da Antónia on Santiago island.
Etymology
The specific name, stangeri, is in honor of English explorer William Stanger.[2]
