K. N. T. Sastry (5 September 1945 – 13 September 2018) was an Indian film critic, screenwriter, director and producer, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, and few Kannada films. He has garnered seven National Film Awards.[1]
Sastry was the president of the Hyderabad Film Club from 2008 to 2011, and a film critic with more than thirty years of experience. He was a jury member for many international film festivals. He served as chairman of critics Jury at National Film Awards and has served as a Jury Member for Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards.[2][3] Sastry's Thilaadanam received "New Currents Award" at the 7th Busan International Film Festival.[4][5]
