Clyde "Hardrock" Shoun was a professional baseball player. He was born March 20, 1912 in Mountain City, TN and died March 20, 1968 in Johnson City, TN.
Shoun was 23 years old when he broke into the big leagues on August 7, 1935, with the Chicago Cubs.
Played 14 Major League season, all of which were in the National League.
Played for the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Boston Braves.
