Styal is a village in Cheshire, England, on the River Bollin and near to the town of Wilmslow. It is a popular commuter village for nearby Manchester. The village is dominated by Quarry Bank Mill and much of its housing is comprised of the mill's estate.

There is a railway station on the branch line linking Wilmlsow and Manchester Airport and a primary school. Styal is the location of a women's prison.

The population in the 2001 census was 5014 but this includes the nearby, smaller, village of Morley and part of the fringe of Wilmslow.
