David Lovering

David Lovering was a drummer for the Pixies from 1986 through 1993. After their breakup, Lovering did drumming stints in Cracker and The Martinis.

David studied Electronic Engineering in his college years at Wentworth Institute of Technology. With this knowledge, Lovering became what he calls a "Scientific Phenomenalist". David has brought his act to the United States as an opener for Frank Black, Grant Lee Phillips, The Breeders and Camper Van Beethoven.

He is currently drumming for the Pixies on their 2004 North American/European tour.
