Philosophy

Life is this amazing force that makes your heart beat day after day, makes your chest rise and fall with each breath, makes your eyes open to see the clouds grazing on distant hills. Life is all around you, and it’s beautiful. If you take a break, slow down, you’ll realize that all the things that aren’t even alive are beautiful because of life. They are only beautiful because life is around to appreciate them. Live your life, not just by doing, but by seeing, hearing, feeling. Touch things. You’ll be amazed at how different one rock feels from another, how different silk feels on your face instead of your hands. Feel, touch, see, taste. Experience. Live.
The more you live your life, the more you appreciate the life around you, the more beautiful the world will become. Nothing is inherently beautiful. Beauty is a title we bestow on things, on people, on ideas. You have the power to create beauty simply by experiencing and declaring, “This is beautiful!” The only catch is, you have to mean it, body and soul. You have to feel the beauty seep into your brain, settle in the pit of your stomach like a stone. Feel its weight, feel its importance, and feel it dissolve and become a part of yourself.
Throw yourself into life, knowing that it is beautiful. If you find and create beauty wherever you go, your life will never be barren. You don’t need to worry about finding beauty, finding love. Life is beauty. Life is love. As long as you’re alive, these things are provided to you, free of charge.

Personal Note

I sound like a huge hippie. This was not my intention. I swear, I'm actually a fairly normal person. I'm just much, much happier than most of the people around me.
