Go see Hegwm's edits of 22 Oct. Not only has he stuck he issue back into the article without responding to the mediation that that started, he's put cite tags on sentences that already have citations. This stuff and he need to be stopped now. Rlevse 11:49, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notification. Because he has not objected to me serving as a mediator, I have accepted this case. Hopefully this will bring your disagreement to an end and create a final solution that is acceptable to those on your side of the issue, and him as well. Project

I noticed you have the Scouting project tag on your user page, but weren't listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Scouting#Participants_and_primary_areas_of_interest, so I listed you. Please let me know if I was being too bold, I was merely trying to be helpful. Sumoeagle179 19:10, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem and thanks for helping. I think you've done a good job at being neutral. We have another re Boy Scout in case you're interested. We have two and we've never had one before. Go figure. Rlevse 23:30, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Vasiljev: Thanks for your contributions to the Aria article! It's great to see on of my favorite bands on Wikipedia!

Srebrenica massacre

Hi, I scouted the members of the Wikipedia: Neutrality Project and decided contact you with my 'case' because of your profile (you listed "Swedish ancestry"). Anyways, I am currently editing the Srebrenica massacre article which I believe has a large number of POV issues (some of the more pressing ones I have listed on the Talk page under Disputed issues). As you will see from the Talk page raising these issues has resulted in a massive attack (I find no better word) from the Bosniak editors of the article, who, for obvious reasons, feel very strongly about it. Sometimes I'm thinking they're more interested in turning it into a memorial of the massacre than an article about it.

I though I would contact you for some suggestions on resolving the conflict (the Bosniak editors won't even acknowledge that there is a POV conflict and have deleted the POV tag several times) or, at least, finding some kind of compromise. What do you say?KarlXII 16:05, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank's for your reply. Yes, I believe that greater third party involvement would be good as the editing of the article is now very much stuck in a rut. At least I think it would be good if we could set up some kind of process to systematically resolve all of the edit conflicts going on. Currently it is all very unstructured (I have tried to create some structure to my issues by listing them here). Unfortunately, the current editor seems to have gotten a bit fed up (who can blame him) and sort of left the article to itself. Your involvement would be much appreciated.KarlXII 08:47, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Didgeridoooooooo

Hey there Markovich,

I recently started playing the Didge, and have been chatting on some online didge forums. Some of the people there suggested the one of the best ways of progressing, getting tips, etc. is to make some connections with nearby players. I did a quick search for minnesota didgeridoo players and your username came up. We seem to share quite a bit in common from the things I see on your Wiki page. Hit me with an email at windmillcombined@gmail.com if you'd be interested in chatting a bit more :]

Your input would be helpful

As you have contributed to the page for Category:Antisemitism, would you please look at Talk:Jerry Klein’s 2006 Radio Experiment. I have been debating another editor on whether its mention of the Holocaust renders it worthy of inclusion in the Category:Antisemitism. Your comments would be appreciated, either it does not qualify as I suggest or I have misunderstand the category. Either way your opinion would be helpful.--Wowaconia 18:28, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Pharmacology is currently organizing a new Collaboration of the Week program, designed to bring drug and medication related articles up to featured status. We're currently soliciting nominations and/or voting on nominations for the first WP:RxCOTW, to begin on September 5, 2007. Please stop by the Pharmacology Collaboration of the Week page to participate! Thanks! Dr. Cash 17:51, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aspirin has been selected as this week's Pharmacology Collaboration of the Week! Please help us bring this article up to featured standards during the week. The goal is to nominate this at WP:FAC on September 10, 2007.

Also, please visitWP:RxCOTW to support other articles for the next COTW. Articles that have been nominated thus far include Doxorubicin, Paracetamol (in the lead with 4 support votes so far), Muscle relaxant, Ethanol, and Bufotenin.

In other news:

  • The Wikipedia:WikiProject Pharmacology main page has been updated and overhauled, to make it easier to find things, as well as to highlight other goals and announcements for the project.
  • Fvasconcellos notes that discussion is ongoing regarding the current wording of MEDMOS on including dosage information in drug articles. All input is welcome.

Here's a brief update in some of the recent developments of WikiProject Pharmacology!

  • Aspirin has just completed its two week run as the first Collaboration of the Week! Many thanks to those editors that contributed; the article got a lot of good work accomplished, and in particular, much work was done in fixing up the history section. It's still not quite "done" yet (is a wikipedia article really ever done?), but after two weeks I think it's more important to push onwards with the development of the new collaboration of the week program. I will be fixing up Aspirin in the next few days and possibly nominating it for either GA or FA status.
  • Please remember that Wikipedia is not a forum for discussing or dispensing medical advice amongst users. Specifically, talk pages of articles should only be used to discuss improving the actual article in question. To help alleviate this situation, the template {{talkheader}} may be added to the top of talk pages, reminding users of the purpose of such pages. Additionally, unsigned comments and comments by anonymous users that are inappropriate may be removed from talk pages without being considered vandalism.
