Season five episodes of Full House (a television sitcom that ran on the ABC)

The fifth season of the show was first aired in (1991-1992) before the series went into syndication.

Double Trouble

(September 17, 1991)

After learning that he and Becky are having twins, Jesse is apprehensive with the thought of raising two babies. Michelle has difficulty making friends in kindergarten after a kid tells her she is strange. Stephanie helps Michelle break the ice.

Matchmaker Michelle

(September 24, 1991)

When Teddy accidentally points out her lack of a mother, Michelle concocts a goofy scheme to fix up Danny with her 50-something teacher. Meanwhile, Jesse has been turned down by another record company who says his image is "too soft." He then teams up with Joey to give him a tougher, scarier image called "The Vulture," with hilarious consequences. Also, D.J. and Kimmy switch places for two days, which drives Stephanie crazy.

Take My Sister, Please

(October 1, 1991)

A potential date is blown by Stephanie's big mouth, so D.J. declares five years is long enough, she wants the little pain out of her room for good! With a well-written and impassioned presentation, D.J. finally convinces the guys to give her her own bedroom, making roommates of the younger Tanner girls. But Stephanie threw out a nasty comment trying to stop the switch, and now Michelle doesn't want her either!

Meanwhile, Jesse's getting fed up with the ever-increasing demands of a pregnant Becky, while Danny & Joey duel for the attention of her attractive Lamaze teacher.

Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone?

(October 8, 1991) Danny gets upset that D.J. won't confide in him anymore, and since she has her own room now, he's lost his little informer (Stephanie) to tell him updates. Believing D.J.'s having a problem at school she won't talk about, he snoops through her dresser drawers, finding and reading a personal letter. But in the end, nosy Danny has a "Mega-Crisis" of his own when D.J. finds out he invaded her privacy!

The King and I

(October 15, 1991)

A workaholic Jesse misses out on the Tanner family reunion, even after promising Michelle to be her teammate in the balloon race. When Jesse goes to a diner to do some thinking, he gets a vision from Elvis Presley telling him to put his family first. Eventually, Jesse catches up with the stranded Tanners, fixes the family van, and they all head to the reunion.

The Legend of Ranger Joe

(October 22, 1991)

Joey has a lucky day. There is a newspaper strike so he doesn't get bad reviews, wins tickets, gets a girl, the "TRUCK AND TRACTOR-PULL NETWORK", and a job on T. V., as the new Ranger Roy, Ranger Joe. Then bad luck happens. The newspaper strike is over and he gets bad reviews, gets disqualified from the contest because a relative of his works there, loses the girl, and gets fired. How will Joey's lucky to unlucky day turn lucky again? Michelle gets Stephanie's tap shoes. Becky and Jesse want to choose names for their twins. It is revealed that Jeese's real name is Hermes.

The Volunteer

(October 29, 1991)

DJ befriends an Alzheimer's patient (guest star Whitman Mayo of Sanford and Son fame), but she feels depressed when her father tells her that the disease is incurable and will only worsen. Jesse wears a sympathy belly to try to understand pregnancy better. Becky bets that Jesse will not wear the belly for more than a day. Kimmy and Stephanie organize a dog show.

Gotta Dance

Stephanie joins an advanced dancing class, only to realize it makes her busy. Becky tricks Jesse into going to her baby shower, only for Jesse to use Michelle to get the information.

Happy Birthday, Babies, Part One

(November 12, 1991)

It is Michelle's fifth birthday, and she is anxious about getting older. The family looks in Michelle's baby book.

Happy Birthday, Babies, Part Two

(November 12, 1991)

Michelle's party is cut short when Becky goes into labor, and Jesse has appendicitis. As a ratings stunt, Danny invites the Channel 8 news crew to film Becky's birth. Becky gives birth to two identical twin boys named Nicholas and Alexander.

(November 19, 1991)

Becky deals with post-pregnancy mood swings while Jesse mixes up the twins' booties and cannot tell them apart. Jesse tries to keep the mix-up a secret to avoid looking like an unfit parent. Danny falls in love with Wake Up, San Francisco fill-in co-host, Vicky Larson.

Bachelor of the Month

(November 26, 1991)

Danny wins bachelor of the month, leading to women asking him on dates so he could not be home to tuck Michelle in. Michelle feeling unloved, she and Teddy sneak on one of Danny's dates, this being the one with Vicky.

Easy Rider

(December 3, 1991)

Joey tries to teach Michelle how to ride a bike, but he loses her trust after a biking accident and trying to medicate the wound. Danny and Vicky get more romantically involved after trying to keep their relationship professional.

The extended 1:26 theme is played on ABC Family.

Sisters in Crime

(December 17, 1991)

DJ wants to hang out with Steve, but she has to babysit her sisters. Not having enough money, DJ convinces Kimmy to sneak them into a movie for free, but they get kicked out for nonpayment. The twins visit their great aunt Ida, and Danny, Jesse, and Joey play hockey.

    Stephanie: Yeah, except I told it to shut up and I listened to you.

Play It Again, Jess

(January 7, 1992)

After being turned down by another record company, Jesse feels emasculated because Becky is the breadwinner for the Katsopolis family. Stephanie steals, stains, and shrinks a sweater.

Crushed

(January 14, 1992) Stephanie gets a surprise birthday gift... her all-time favorite singer Tommy Page. However, it is soon a war between Stephanie and DJ over who Tommy really likes. Michelle learns comedy from Joey.

Spellbound

(January 28, 1992)

Stephanie vies for the title of best speller of the fourth grade, but she is eliminated on the very first word. Being a sore loser, she demands a do-over. Later, she has a personal rematch with champion Davey Chu and loses again. Danny teaches Stephanie good sportsmanship.

Michelle learns to read but loses confidence. Jesse restores confidence in Michelle when his teaching method works the best.

Too Much Monkey Business

(February 11, 1992)

Danny's sister Wendy returns from Africa with a pet chimpanzee named Ginger. Joey and Wendy fall in love, but Danny isn't happy about it. Joey is left to tend Ginger but she keeps running away from him! Meanwhile, D.J. accidentally dyes Kimmy's hair a mixture of orange and red. When Stephanie's in her room with Michelle, Steph finds a cardboard box, she opens it. And inside's an odd-looking "plant" with evil red eyes. That says "feed me!". And besides the box there was a piece of paper that said:

"Feed me or a curse will fall upon your family... Enjoy!"

The Devil Made Me Do It

(February 18, 1992)

Michelle plays with Jesse's recording machine after Jesse tells her not to. Michelle runs away from home to get even with Jesse for getting her grounded. D.J. tries to stop Stephanie and Kimmy's arguing.

Note: This is one of the few episodes where the Olsen twins play side-by-side in the same scene.

Driving Miss D.J.

(February 25, 1992)

DJ passes her learner's permit test, and when she wants to learn to drive, Danny is apprehensive about teaching her. Danny is very uptight and overprotective with DJ's driving lesson, but Jesse is too laid back--until DJ puts a serious scratch in Jesse's car. Danny and Jesse decide to find a balance between the approaches and teach DJ together.

Stephanie is upset when she tries to entertain a guest but gets constantly interrupted by Michelle. To chase her off, Stephanie tells Michelle about the Hairy Scary Monster. Joey teaches Michelle to respect other people's spaces.

Yours, Mine and Ours

(March 3, 1992)

Jesse and Rebecca each imagine how the other's parenting techniques may affect the twins in the future. "Tanner Family Fun Night" at a seafood restaurant turns disastrous due to Joey's finicky taste in food, Stephanie's complaining, Michelle's jealousy, and DJ's self-consciousness.

The Trouble with Danny

(March 17, 1992)

It's Spring Cleaning day, but everyone gets fed up with Danny's compulsive cleaning especially when Michelle bosses everyone around like Danny. DJ arranges a secret family meeting to vent about Danny's OCD-like cleaning behavior. Little did they know, Danny was relining DJ's closet shelves and overheard the put-downs. Danny decides to become a slob to everyone's surprise.

Jesse and Becky teach the twins how to crawl.

Five's A Crowd

(March 31, 1992)

Wake Up San Francisco has been nominated for best morning talk show, and Ranger Joe has been nominated for best children's show. Therefore, all the grown-ups planned to attend an awards ceremony. Since DJ has a date, Jesse reluctantly lets Kimmy babysit. When Danny learns form Kimmy that DJ conveniently left out that she was at a drive-in movie in her date's van, he, Jesse, and Joey go to the drive-in instead to stop her. D.J. goes out on a date with a heavy-metal band member, which prompts Danny and the guys to go after her. In the drive-in movie DJ and the boy listening Bang your Head till your Dead

Girls Will Be Boys

(April 28, 1992)

Michelle's friends are boys and she is a girl, so she dresses up and acts like a boy to try and get them to accept her when Aaron tells Teddy boys shouldn't play with girls. D.J. catches Stephanie listening in on her phone call, so D.J. tricks Stephanie into thinking she's out to get her for revenge for Stephanie's sneaky habits. Jesse becomes Joey's sidekick on The Ranger Joe Show.

Goof: Denise moves to San Francisco in Season 6 and they show her at the end of the episode.

(May 5, 1992)

Michelle tries to earn a Honeybee badge for cooking. DJ wants to convince Danny to let her study abroad in Spain. Initially, Jesse's band is rejected by Fat Fish Records, but after hearing Jesse and the Rippers with The Beach Boys, the record label accepts Jesse and the Rippers.

Captain Video, Part Two

(May 12, 1992)

Jesse and Fat Fish Records dispute on how to choreograph the song, which leads to Jesse quitting. After finding support from Michelle, Jesse bluffs the record company saying that another company would pay him to do the song his way, which makes it into a love video...with a new love. Kimmy struggles to study for a Spanish test that will allow her to go to Spain with D.J.
