Damian Spencer (born September 19, 1981) is a professional footballer for Coca Cola League One club Cheltenham Town. He is a striker. He has previous experience with Bristol City, from whom he joined Cheltenham in 2002. He had previously had a loan spell with Exeter City.

Spencer is 6'1" tall and weighs 14 stone. Spencer's size and physical game have earned him the nicknames 'Big D' and 'The Tank'. Popular shouts from the terraces are "Spencer's gonna[sic] get you" and "Damo! Damo! Damo!". Damien has been praised by Sir Alex Ferguson, who called him the best striker outside the Premiership.

He had a strong forward partnership with Kayode Odejayi at Whaddon Road until Kayode moved to Barnsley. He has also played on the left of midfield.

Away from the pitch, Damian has a kean interest in pastry making, and has won several awards for his trademark (and controversial) cheese and marshmallow pie's. Most notably picking up 'best new comer' at the Ardgay and Monmouth National bake-off.

Damian is also widely respected in clay pigion shooting, however his quite literally 'hit or miss' style has caused him to hang up his rifel, after a nun in a near by nunnery lost her left breast to an alleged stray Spencer round. Damian denies all involvment.
