"The Glow-Worm" is a popular song.

The music was written by Paul Lincke, the original German lyrics by Heinz Bolten-Backers, with English lyrics by Johnny Mercer.[1] The song was published in 1902.

Probably the best-known recording of the song was done by The Mills Brothers with the Hal McIntyre Orchestra in 1952, a #1 charting song in the United States.

Mel Torme recorded a version with alternate lyrics for his Christmas Album "Christmas Songs".

The great Ballerina Anna Pavlova performed an orchestrated version of "The Glow-Worm".

Spike Jones released a cover of the song, replete with his typical sound effects.

Allan Sherman parodied the song as "Grow, Mrs. Goldfarb."
