- SM City Sta. Mesa (Formerly SM Centerpoint) was formally launched and opened on September 1990. It is the second SM Supermall built and inaugurated by Chinese-Filipino tycoon Henry Sy Sr. However, the mall is not considered as the 3rd mall located in Quezon City because the term Centerpoint refers that the mall is located between the cities of Manila, San Juan and Quezon City. The SM Centerpoint was now changed to SM City Sta. Mesa in mid-May 2006, commemorating SM Sta. Mesa's 15th Anniversary.
