SM Megamall

SM Megamall.

SM Megamall is the name of a shopping mall in Mandaluyong City , currently the third largest in the Philippines and one of the largest in Asia . It is majority owned by SM Prime Holdings . The shopping center was completed in 1991 on a 10.5 hectare site, and in 2008 the Megamall atrium was added. Today the SM Megamall is a two-part building complex with a floor area of 348,056 square meters and is 5 floors high. The building has 550 shops and restaurants as well as a multiplex cinema with 12 movie theaters and a parking garage for 2,792 cars.

Until the opening of the SM Mall of Asia on May 21, 2006, the SM Megamall was the largest shopping mall in the Philippines.
