Liasis mackloti is a non-venomous python species found in Indonesia. Two subspecies are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here.[2]

Description

Adults may grow to 7 feet (213 cm) in length. The coloration consists of a blackish-brown ground color patterned with scattered small yellow spots, while the labial scales are lightly colored.[3]

Geographic range

Found in Indonesia in the Lesser Sunda Islands of Savu, Roti, Samao, Timor and Wetar. The type locality given is "les îles de Timor et de Samao." Brongersma (1968) restricted the type locality to "Timor" by lectotype designation.[1]
