I have often seen her name spelled as "Elaine"? A google search for Elaine Karp de Toledo finds more hits than Eliane ... ? Anyone know the story on this? Schtickwriter 20:04, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Regarding this statement[reply]
Some people say that she was paid US$ 1 million to return to Peru and help her husband in his presidential campaign.
This is rather provocative, to say the least. We should cite a source for it or delete it. -- Viajero 15:51, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
In 2006 when finalizing the government of Toledo, Karp fled from Peru defendant of corruption This really, really needs a citation. --Descendall 07:25, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I deleted it --Descendall 03:18, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
'The phrase "is fluent in 7 languages" is not correct. I've heard her speak in Nederlands and it sucks, she knows the language but it is not FLUENT, by the way the name Flemish of the language is incorrect, because it refers just to a local accent. I also speak spanish, my mother language, so I can say that her spanish is TERRIBLE, no way you can call that "fluent".

Btw, I'm not disputing the fact they been separated for a number of years. It is pretty much 'public knowledge' Just that we should try to reference affirmations as much as we can. PuercoPop (talk) 22:05, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
